TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
