The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
